We are looking for an experienced AIMS/GIS Technician to join our design team based in our London Office. With responsibility to support the maintenance of the AIMS database on scheme works you will play an integral role in the delivery of an annual major programme of highways works, across the 10 boroughs of Transport for London’s Central Area. This is an exciting contract working in partnership with Transport for London on one of the most prestigious road networks in the U.K. To be considered for one of these opportunities you will need the following:
- A sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, TSO Chapter 5 and CDM requirements.
- Possess a high degree of computer literacy and have a good working knowledge of traffic and highway design standards and layouts.
- Experience with AIMS/GIS database as well as the ability to use other relevant software packages such as MapInfo and MapBasic.
- A high level of competence in ICT software programmes and hardware.
Roles & Responsibilities
Salary scale: £20,000 - £28,000
