Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our design team based in our London Office. With responsibility for management, preparation of detailed design, feasibility studies, scheme reports, and contract data on a variety of projects you will play an integral role in the delivery of an annual major programme of highways works, across the 10 boroughs of Transport for London’s Central Area. This is an exciting contract working in partnership with Transport for London on one of the most prestigious road networks in the U.K.

To be considered for one of these opportunities you will need the following:

• A sound knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges.
• A sound knowledge of Lighting and Electrical design in line with requirements of completed ILE diploma and BTEC HNC in electrical lighting.
• The ability to conduct effective negotiations with both the Client, stakeholders, subcontractors and third parties on allocated schemes.
• A detailed understanding of most aspects of highway maintenance works particularly relating to street lighting and electrical communication works
