We are looking to recruit a Senior Highways Licensing Inspector for a temporary period until March 2012. The role will be based at Newham Dockside, London E16 and the main purpose of the role will be to control the activities of any person(s) or companies wishing to carry out construction activities on the Highway, particularly in relation to the inspection of sites and issue of licences for the erection of scaffolding, hoardings and placement of skips on the Highway.
You will be required to work on secondment to London Borough of Newham, five days per week from London Borough of Newham’s office as part of the Council’s Network Management Team. This position will be temporary until 31st March 2012.
