We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join the busy Cheshire East Highways Commercial Team to manage purchase orders and subcontract application and payment process, on a one-year fixed term contract.
To maintain the Subcontract requisition register.
Ensure that all requisitions / orders are correctly raised with approval in line with Authority Matrix.
Ensure the Subcontract reporting timetable is adhered to.
Receive and log all Subcontract applications.
Distribute all applications to the operational and commercial teams for review and approval.
Raise all payment notices to the Subcontractors.
Generate payment certificates, obtain authorisation and process to the payment team.
Reconcile all payments against certificates processed.
Produce monthly reports for payments in excess of order values, aged liabilities and final accounting performance.
Demonstrate an understanding of all commercial activities.
Through strong inter-personnel skills, ensure that objectives are met.
To maintain and enhance the reputation of Ringway Jacobs by encouraging and demonstrating our core value of integrity.
To support the Finance team with other day to day activities as required.
Skills and Experience
Experience in document management.
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills;
Effective time management and prioritisation skills;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
