Description

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager this role is responsible for interaction with local operational teams, corporate IT, and client IT. The role is responsible for the coordination of IT services used on client sites and liaison with our central IT department. The role will oversee the day to day relationship and foster a positive working relationship between the company, staff and its customers.

The role will work with all levels of the local contract to analyse and define future business requirements. All members of the IT department may be required to provide IT support when requested by the business.


Responsibilities

To be the primary point of contact on client site for all IT matters.

Analyse business requirements for solution development in accordance with the Ringway Jacobs IT Strategy and to continually improve the service provided.

Liaising with local client IT to monitor IT support, performance, project delivery and Service Improvement Plans.

To be the main point of contact for IT and system issues and escalate issues with Ringway Jacobs and/or client IT as appropriate.

Liaise with the other members of the IT Department to enhance and improve service.

To work with the Ringway Jacobs IT and Applications team to assist in the development of overall IT strategies across all Ringway Jacobs contracts.

Prepare appropriate update reports for senior managers and Ringway Jacobs corporate team.

Liaise with the local Communications Team to arrange communications to staff for issues/system outages that may affect them.

Liaise with client IT teams as appropriate to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.

Actively promote the company’s commitments in relation to environmental awareness and sustainability

To arrange and support the rollout of IT training as appropriate.


Skills and Experience

Ability to prioritise own work to support business priorities.

Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities.

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.

A level, HNC educated, or equivalent experience including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

Degree or demonstrable experience in ICT or business solutions.

Experienced in presenting to all levels.

Understanding of project management

Proven excellent written communication skills

Knowledge of ICT industry developments

Required to be mobile and therefore a FULL, CLEAN driving licence and use of car if not provided
