Lighting and Technology Technician

The Technician will be undertaking the design of New Development schemes across the Ringway Jacobs Contracts. You will also learn how to check lighting schemes received by developers. As you continue within the company you will get involved with lighting works and you will be assisting the team engineers on other projects. You will be trained up to become a fully qualified lighting engineer and will also be involved in developing schemes using technology.
The role can sit in one of four contract locations depending on your preferred location these are Central Beds, Buckinghamshire, Cheshire East and Essex.
Providing design for lighting schemes
Input into the development of technology design
Delivering of lighting schemes in a safe and economic manner.
Supporting the Lighting Engineers
Review of incoming lighting designs
Skills and Experience
HNC/ONC level qualification or equivalent
Full, clean driving license
Keen on technology, IT or Software programming experience. (beneficial)
Able to undertake electrical design work (beneficial)
Fully conversant with MS - Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
CAD skills including AutoCAD
Communication skills including report writing.
