To provide support on all quality assurance, compliance, audit and business improvement related elements within Ringway Jacobs and to develop company policies and procedures to ensure that Ringway Jacobs meet our legal and certification objectives whilst always striving for excellence. This role can be based out of any of our contract offices.


Maintain our ISO 45001/ISO 14001/ISO 9001 standards through business improvement, assurance, compliance and audit activities

Represent the organisation in liaison with external auditing authorities including the scheduling of audit plans and developing best practice

Develop a schedule of internal audits for the organisation and also complete audits as required

Compile and approve audit findings and associated improvement actions including root cause analysis

Advise on suitable external training for employees and develop and rollout training on Quality/Audit elements internally as required across RJ

Provide assurance, compliance and audit advice in relation to strategy, policy and procedures to all levels of management throughout the Ringway Jacobs as required.

Manage, review, maintain, amend and update company HSEQ documentation and policies as required

Develop comprehensive documentation including process improvements to support the management system and company objectives and manage the document content on the Ringway Jacobs Management System

Lead for compiling the data for the all reports and submission for review, approval and issue & point of contact for all reports (Management & Shareholder Board, Compliance & Audit, General HSEQ reports & statistics etc.)

Manage the Inspection, Audit and Safety Tour regime and co-ordinate all information and upload to the Management System

Compilation of the quarterly newsletter for approval by the Head of HSEQ

Responsibility for issuing Alerts and Bulletin. Liaison with Contract Admin teams to share information/best practice.

Overall management of COSHH Process

Manage OLAS and compile monthly reports

Point of contact for liaison with Communications Dept. for campaigns including innovation and new ideas to take Think Safe Home Safe to the next level of excellence

Compilation and maintenance of legislation register

Chair/attend meeting’s as required

Lead by example to embed a positive culture of excellence in Ringway Jacobs

Skills and Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a Quality Assurance role

Audit qualifications & strong experience of ISO management systems audits

Experience with external audit agencies and enforcement authorities

Experience in innovative business improvement techniques

Fully conversant of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and the production of reports

Self-starter, excellent organisation skills with ability to prioritise and manage workload under varying circumstances including the ability to adapt to changing priorities as the business requires

Willing to travel as the role is a corporate role across the UK

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, able to tailor them to suit all levels of audience

A good understanding and appreciation of how their role fits into the requirements of the whole organisation

The ability to drive change and improvement to timescales to ensure objectives are met
