Ringway Jacobs makes charity donations

Health and safety is at the heart of Ringway Jacobs and the company encourages staff to report ‘near misses’ – unplanned events that did not result in injury, illness or damage but had the potential to do so.
For every ‘near miss’ that is reported, we donate £1 to charity. During 2015, 2987 ‘near misses’ were reported resulting in £2987 being donated to four charities, chosen by employees working on our four contracts.
The money was divided between the contracts according to how many near misses each contract had submitted during 2015 and was presented to the following contracts:
