TfB Asset Team wins Gold Award for street database

Transport for Buckinghamshire’s Asset Team has been presented with a Gold Achievement Award for its street information database at the GeoPlace annual conference and Exemplar Awards 2017. The national awards, which took place on Thursday 11th May in Leeds, celebrate excellence in service delivery of local government address and street information.

The Gold Achievement Award is given to authorities that have reached the highest standard in national tests on data excellence, and supply regular updates to the national hub for England and Wales.

In presenting the award to Transport for Buckinghamshire’s Asset Team, Richard Groombridge, National Street Data Manager said “The Team has achieved the highest standard of street information data management. Achieving this level demonstrates excellence and commitment to a process that brings local and national benefits.”
