Ringway Jacobs was presented with the award at this international event recognising the standard that they have set working in collaboration with Cheshire East Borough Council. Ringway Jacobs was recognised for the best in class processes that have been implemented in the way their highway assets are managed, which resulted in the Cheshire East Highways contract becoming the first integrated highway service provider to attain ISO 55001 in Asset Management.
Mike O’Neill, Ringway Jacobs Managing Director said “I am extremely proud that we have won this award and have been recognised for our achievements in Asset Management. Particularly as this was against strong competition from National Grid Gas, Anglian Water and National Grid Electricity who were also shortlisted. This was a great achievement for our team in Cheshire East, but it’s also fantastic that a partnership between a local authority and a private sector business can go toe to toe with huge organisations in this arena, and can even come away with the prize.”
