Cheshire East Highways apprentices recognised as Rising Stars

Two apprentices from Cheshire East Highways have been nominated as Rising Stars at the 2026 Highways Champions Awards, recognising their potential and contribution to the highways industry.

Bailey Colman, a flood risk and drainage apprentice, and Chloe Lyons, a customer service apprentice, have both been selected for the Rising Star category, which celebrates the next generation of talent and future leaders in the UK roads sector.

Their nominations highlight the diverse career opportunities available within Ringway Jacobs and the importance of supporting and developing emerging talent across the business.

This year, the awards attracted a strong field of nominations from across the highways industry, with judges selecting just 27 Rising Star Champions. The judging panel set a high standard, making Bailey and Chloe's recognition a particularly significant achievement.

Developing future skills and providing opportunities for people to build rewarding careers is an important part of Ringway Jacobs' approach. Both apprentices demonstrate the value of investing in the next generation of highways professionals.

Congratulations to Bailey and Chloe on their well-deserved nominations. We look forward to following their continued progress and future successes with Ringway Jacobs.
