The collaborative business relationships between Ringway Jacobs, Cheshire East Council, Jacobs and Eurovia Specialist Treatments on the Cheshire East Highways contract have been formally recognised by the British Standards Institute on award of the BS 11000 accreditation.
The award of BS 11000 as British Standard for Collaborative Business Relationships formalises how the relationship between the Client and partners works to maximize the benefits for all parties.
The Cheshire East Highways Service Leader said, “Essentially, we have built a service based on collaboration. Throughout the BS 11000 project, we have all reflected on how we work collaboratively and the award of BS 11000 allows this team effort to be recognised externally. We now join a very small group of highway authorities with BS 11000 accreditation, of which I am extremely proud.”
The successful BS 11000 accreditation is the start of a working relationship with an attitude of cooperation and mutual success, whereby partners support each other and their interests and goals. This positive ‘can-do’ attitude will benefit everyone across Cheshire East.
This is the second Ringway Jacobs contract to achieve BS 11000, the strategic partnership between Ringway Jacobs and Essex County Council achieved the accreditation in March 2015.
