Christmas Parade of Light

On Sunday 29 November, the London Borough of Enfield hosted its annual Christmas Parade of Light, a celebration held to coincide with the switching on of the Borough Christmas lights.

For the second year running, Ringway Jacobs were delighted to support this festive community event by arranging signs along the route to give motorists advance notice of road closures. Around two hundred cones were also provided to safely indicate non-parking zones.

The parade featured an assortment of floats, live bands, marching groups and even cheerleaders! The only requirement was that all participants have an element of light involved in their act to represent hope. During the parade a collection took place which raised thousands of pounds with the monies collected split between three local charities.

Tony Corrigan, Head Organiser commented, “It was fantastic to have Ringway Jacobs on board for a second year, I hope we can continue to work together for the coming years”.
