Helping the homeless at Christmas

Ringway Jacobs helped the homeless at Christmas by donating items to the Webber Street Homeless Shelter, which is just a short walk from their London office.

The Shelter aims to meet the physical needs of the homeless by providing cooked breakfasts, hot showers, clothing and cups of tea and coffee. On average the shelter makes 2,000 hot drinks a week!

Employees from the London office and depots collected clothes, toiletries and raised money to buy additional winter clothing for the users of the Shelter. In total, over ten large black sacks full of donations were collected and Ringway Jacobs’s employees carried them over to the shelter.

David Clover, Team Leader for the shelter said, “Thank you for your kind donations, especially the male clothing as we were in desperate need of this. The items will make a big difference to the care we provide over Christmas and the cold winter months".
