- Ringway Jacobs,
Ringway Jacobs is proud to have received the highly prestigious Armed Forces Covenant, Employer Recognition Scheme, Silver Award for our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces.
Ringway Jacobs signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2017, pledging our support to the Armed Forces Community and has continuously strived to attract ex-military personnel to our organisation and support reservists working within our organisation.
Having already successfully employed a number of people from the forces, we recognise the value reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business, together with the transferrable skills they bring to our work force.
We actively work with The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to attract suitable leavers from the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and Marines and provide work attachments for potential employees from the services. We have also introduced many policies to support reservists by giving them additional leave to meet their military commitments and by supporting their families.
Mike O’Neill, Ringway Jacobs’ Managing Director said: “We are absolutely thrilled that we have achieved the Silver Award. Ringway Jacobs supports the Armed Forces Covenant because we believe that morally it is the right thing to do. From a business perspective, we are a ‘values based organisation’, and we see the armed forces as an excellent source to recruit people with strong personal values as part of their DNA.”
