Ringway Jacobs awarded ROSPA gold medal for sixth consecutive year

Ringway Jacobs has been awarded the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal for the sixth consecutive year.

The latest award recognises Ringway Jacobs’ health and safety performance across the business during 2022.

RoSPA’s Gold Award programme confirms commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at overarching health and safety and wellbeing management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Philip Horton, Ringway Jacobs managing director said: “Of all the accolades we as a company receive, the RoSPA Gold Award is particularly pleasing as it means we have achieved our most important objective – looking after the safety and wellbeing of our staff and supply chain partners.

“That commitment is unwavering, and we will continue to place health, safety and wellbeing at the very heart of all we do.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Achievements Director, said: “Accidents at work and work-related ill health don’t just have huge financial implications or cause major disruption – they significantly impact an individual’s quality of life. That’s why good safety performance deserves to be recognised and rewarded.

“We are thrilled Ringway Jacobs has won a RoSPA Gold Award and would like to congratulate them on showing an unwavering commitment to keeping their employees, clients and customers safe from accidental harm and injury.”

Sponsored by Croner-i, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK, and receives entries from organisations across the globe, making it one of the most sought-after achievement awards for the health and safety industry.
