Apprentices celebrated during National Apprenticeship Week

Ringway Jacobs Celebrates Apprentices During National Apprenticeship Week.

Organisations across the UK are marking National Apprenticeship Week, celebrating the achievements of apprentices and the vital role they play in building a skilled workforce for the future.

Now in its 19th year, the annual campaign highlights how apprenticeships create pathways into rewarding careers, help businesses develop future-ready talent, and support economic growth by addressing key skills gaps.

At Ringway Jacobs, the week has provided an opportunity to recognise the success of both current and former apprentices. The company currently supports more than 40 apprentices across its Cheshire East and Essex contracts, with further recruitment planned later this year.

Apprentices within the organisation are contributing across a wide range of disciplines. While many are training as highway operatives and civil engineers, others are building careers in areas such as quantity surveying, design, customer services and communications.

Former apprentices have also taken on leadership roles within the programme. Ben Crossley and Jack Cook, who both began their careers as apprentices, recently led the 2025 recruitment and onboarding process, offering first-hand insight and support to new starters.

The company remains committed to investing in young people from the communities it serves, helping them develop the skills and experience needed to succeed while strengthening the future workforce.
