Ringway Jacobs is marking Armed Forces Day by recognising the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community.
Ringway Jacobs is marking Armed Forces Day by recognising the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community and reaffirming its ongoing commitment to supporting serving personnel, veterans, reservists and military families.
As an Armed Forces Friendly Employer, the company works alongside colleagues with Armed Forces backgrounds, whose leadership, resilience, teamwork and commitment bring valuable skills and experience to the business.
Ringway Jacobs signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2017 and continues to support the military community through dedicated support, inclusive recruitment practices and career opportunities, helping those who have served to feel valued and supported as they transition into civilian employment.
The company’s commitment was also recognised earlier this week in Chelmsford, where the Armed Forces Day flag was raised at County Hall to mark the start of Armed Forces Week.
The ceremony was led by Cllr Karen McIvor, Chairman of Essex County Council, and attended by Lieutenant Colonel Ed Rankin DL, Commander of Colchester Garrison, and The Venerable Dr Sue Lucas, Archdeacon of Southend.
Ringway Jacobs will also be supporting Armed Forces Weekend at Queens Park in Crewe, in one of its other highways contract areas.
The company is proud to recognise the contribution made by all those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, as well as the families who support them, and to continue playing its part in creating opportunities for the military community.
