Working out a way to help the gym

Essex Highways, together with its supply chain partner Eurovia Surfacing, have helped a local charity-funded gymnastic school in Colchester. Eurovia were initially asked to supply 60 tonnes of Planings so the school might repair some pot holes in their car park. However, we decided to supply the plant, labour and material, and the failing surface areas were laid with a paver to increase the longevity of the car park.

Joy Crookston, Head of Preschool at Colchester School of Gymnastics said: “What a great team! I arrived at work and was greeted by a group of friendly workmen all eager to get started. Your team has totally transformed our car park – it was more like pothole city than a driveway.

“Our customers have already started to comment on the transformation and our car suspensions are certainly noticing the difference. We at Colchester School of Gymnastics would like to say a huge thank you to all your team for their hard work and for your very generous help. We are so grateful.”
